December at Meadowbrooke
It's December! The holiday season will be upon us before we know it and there is so much going on between now and the end of the year at Meadowbrooke.
We start the month out with our Winter Create Your Own. It takes place on the first and second weekend. Most of the weekend dates have been full for awhile but there are stills spots on available on Friday, December 7th, if you would be interested in attending and making your own gourd designs.
The 12 Days of Christmas is also underway and currently on Day 4. Haven’t heard about the 12 Days of Christmas? Let me enlighten you. We have decided that for 12 days starting on last Wednesday, November 28th and ending on Sunday, December 9th, we will pick one gourd to put on sale at 20% off both online and in the store. The gourd will be announced daily at 8a.m. EST both on Facebook and on our website. You will then have 24 hours to buy this gourd before it is taken down and the next gourd goes up for sale. There is one little catch, you do not know what gourd will be on sale unless you visit our Facebook page or website. Heck, even I don’t know until I see it on the website so make sure you check back daily.
At the end of the month, we will be having our Winter Sale and Winter tours of the gourd plant. Everyday from December 26-28 at 2:00pm, we will be giving a tour of our crafting areas. You will get a close up and unique experience of seeing how we create all of our wonderful gourds. We will also be holding our 25% off sale on all regular Meadowbrooke Gourds and select Winter décor from December 26-29. So, if you are looking for something to do and impress your out of town friends and family, bring them out to the farm for a great sale and tour.
Some of you are new to Meadowbrooke and some are long time friends but no matter where you fall, all of us, here would like to thank you for another wonderful year and would like to wish each and every one of you a joyous holiday season and a prosperous New Year.
