Welcome 2021 at our Farm
Welcome 2021
2021, a fresh year and a fresh start! Everyone I have talked to was more than ready to say goodbye to 2020 and hello to a new year. With that being said, I would be remiss if I didn’t look back at 2020 and look at all the lessons I’ve learned personally and what we’ve learned as a company. As a company, we had to look for new and innovative projects and systems that allowed us to continue what we love to do within the requirements set before us to keep our employees and our customers safe, healthy and comfortable. We cannot begin to express what it has meant to us for our wonderful customers who continued to purchase from us and make a conscious effort to support small and local businesses.
Zoom Classes
At our last marketing meeting, we sat down and came up with a plan for the first three months of the year and to say it is full would be an understatement. This month, we will resume our Zoom classes with the first one taking place on January 26th at 6:30pm. We will be offering our NEW Black Bear. For more information on this class, please click here to visit our website. We will have two in February and one at the end of March. Each class will be at 6:30 in the evening and will last no longer than two hours. We will ship out the kits about a week before the class so we will have deadlines set that you need to order by so everyone receives their kit in time. Information on how to sign in for the Zoom class will be sent the day before the class via email.
Spring Create Your Own
We will also be holding our Spring Create Your Own the beginning of March, registration will be opening soon. Our Create Your Own will be set up like the ones we held in the Fall and Winter. Class size is smaller and tables are arranged within the social distancing guidelines. Masks will need to be worn during the class. For those that do not live nearby or are not comfortable coming to the farm, we will be offering our Create Your Own kits online for a limited time and shipping them out for you to complete at home. Please watch our upcoming newsletters for more details and which kits will be available.
Spring Sale
We will be holding our Spring sale from March 19th until March 27th. You can enjoy 25% off all of Meadowbrooke Gourd Spring and All-Season gourds. This is a great time for you to stop in to pick gourds up for Easter Baskets or Hostess gifts. Our online Sale will be held from March 19th until March 23rd and will be 20% off Spring.
Annual Egg Hunt
Mark your calendars now! Our Annual Egg Hunt, which was cancelled last year due to COVID, is scheduled for April 17th. More details will be coming on this event as they become available.
New Seasonal Gourds
We are really excited to let you know that we have come up with some really neat designs for Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day. They will be available in our store and for those that do not live nearby, we have heard you and they will also be available online. We will be sending out emails when they are ready to go but Valentine gourds should be ready around January 20th and St. Patrick’s Day gourds should be ready around February 15th. We have different sizes to fit in every corner of your home!
We still have our Tours on Tuesday at 2:00 pm on hold due to COVID. Our next newsletter will go out around January 17th and will have a Save the Date list for you to print out and save so that you are able to see all of our event dates for this year. I just wanted to let you know now what is coming up with a little more information even though more details will be coming as we get further into the planning phase. You can always check out our website at https://mbgourds.com/farm-events/ to see the most up to date information on our events.
Excited to start a new year and look forward to seeing all of you here on the farm,
Dori
